Road to Tehachapi

When you drive from Bakersfield to Tehachapi, California you pass by the famous Walong Loop that was built in the early 1900s as well as many tunnels, through which the trains pass.  This wall hanging was designed for the Road Home Row Along hosted by Marian Pena of Sew it Seams in 2016.  The quilt can be made longer by making more passenger car blocks.

I also participated in three other Row Alongs hosted by Marian.  You can see them in my shop, Angels Heard on High, Tea for Two and Two Little Dickie Birds.

BASIC SKILLS NECESSARY Rotary Cutting Familiar with 1/4" seams and Basic Machine Piecing
