GREP Numeric Range to Query is an Adobe InDesign script that builds the GREP pattern for a range of numbers so you don’t have to. Matching “any number from 1 to 100” or “5 through 9, plus 50, plus 100 to 125” with a hand-written regular expression is fiddly and error-prone — you type a range or list in plain language and the script generates the optimized GREP for you.

The result can be placed straight into InDesign’s GREP Find/Change dialog, shown as multiline output for reference, or turned into a GREP style applied to your paragraph styles. Options cover leading zeros, the \d shorthand, and live updating as you type
