GREP Batch Rename Relink is an Adobe InDesign script that renames the linked files used in a document — on disk — and relinks every instance to the new name in one pass. You type a find/replace pattern, watch a live preview of the resulting file names, and apply when it looks right. It is built for cleaning up messy asset names: stripping import prefixes, renumbering, or standardizing naming across an entire document’s links.

Multiple placements of the same file are grouped and renamed once, embedded graphics are ignored, and potential name collisions are caught before they can overwrite anything.

Also included the script Relink Missing Files 1.2 so you can easily relink renamed files previously placed in other documents using a simple .txt log file.

Also included two bonus scripts to rename and relink single selected graphic.
