Fast and flexible GREP styles creation
GREP Style Quickies is an Adobe InDesign script that makes building GREP styles fast. Normally, adding a GREP style means opening a paragraph style, going to the GREP Style pane, adding a line, and typing both the expression and the character style. This script collapses that into one small palette: enter a pattern, choose a character style, pick the target paragraph style(s), and click Create.
It also helps you write the pattern. Selected text can be auto-converted into GREP codes, and a row of buttons adds common constructs — a case-insensitive flag, word boundaries, escaping of literal text, and a one-click grab of whatever expression is sitting in Find/Change. A character style can be chosen from the document or created on the spot, and a single GREP style can be applied to several paragraph styles at once.

• Use/Open Find GREP: Imports expression from InDesign’s Find/Change dialog.
• C: Clears stored GREP Find/Change preferences.
