SongLab Reason Lite is a free/donate sample library for Reason.

Not just a free taster for the full SongLab Reason Sound Library, Lite is a useful set of sounds for Reason users working at any level and in any genre.

SongLab Reason is an essential sound/sample library for Reason, Reason Intro, and Reason Essentials. It's a set of what you might describe as 'foundational' sounds essential for any songwriter, pop/rock, EDM, RnB producers, and soundtrack composers. It's kind of a 'Proteus for Reason' for anyone who remembers EMU Systems' ubiquitous hardware sound module. Only much, much bigger and better.

The library is a digital download, available as soon as you complete your online purchase.

SongLab Reason Features:

Ready-To-Play Patches.

All the sounds categories within the SongLab Reason library are great sounding, ready to play patches that require no additional sample mapping or editing. Just load the .cmb files and play the sounds.

Fully Formed Combinator Patches.

All the SongLab Reason patches utilize Reason's Combinator feature, so all the sounds are 'fully formed' featuring Reason's powerful effects suite. They employ only the 'standard' set of effects processors supplied with Reason so it's compatible with all versions including Intro and Essentials. All of the sounds use Reason's NN-XT sample player (with the exception of the electronic drum libraries which are based around ReDrum patches), and make full use of the NN-XT's powerful synthesizer parameter editing.

Save Your Own Creations.

All the sounds can be edited or tweaked and then saved, so you can develop your own creations and adjust the sounds to perfectly fit your song.

Monthly Expansions.

SongLab Reason and SongLab Reason Lite are ongoing soundware projects so there are additional sounds and patch categories being added, usually every month.

All the additional sounds are supplied free of charge for all SongLab Reason purchases. SongLab Reason Lite users can get all the latest updates via my Facebook Page, so give me a like/follow there for all the free expansions.

A wonderfully playable and expressive FM electric piano. Compulsory for any pop track from the eighties. The full 9 patches from the full library are included here.

Part of the Keyboard Legacy Volume 1 library which also include the STM D6 funky Clavinet, Classic Tonewheel organ, Odylog synth lead, and HarpsiClav soft Clavinet.

Kick Trumpets. Brass Ensemble For Reason.

Give you soul and funk songs and demos the punchy brass section they need with this trumpet section patch collection. Taken from the Session Brass patch library from the full version of SongLab Reason, which features five categories that include a total of 40 patches.

Minimoog Synth Bass. Analog Synth Bass For Reason.

Synth basses are everywhere and an essential element of modern pop, EDM and rap/hip-hop genres.This fat, warm, squelchy analog synth bass will give your songs a deep, warm foundation. For a digital alternative, the Full SongLab Reason library also features FM Lately Bass, a recreation of the FM bass synth patch found on Yamaha's TX81Z synthesizer module that became a classic synth patch and featured on many songs from the mid eighties onward.
