Handmade and cast from recycled aluminum bronze, this pendant was created using a shrunken 3D scan of a human femur as the sand-casting pattern. The casting process captures the fine layered lines of the 3D print creating textures reminiscent of traditional cuttlefish casting. The finished form is then set in recycled silver and hung on a silver chain, merging anatomy, technology, and refined craftsmanship.
