Conflux is a shawl vest with a simple rectangular shape. It is knit with a seamless modular construction on the bias in two-color brioche and garter stitch using fingering weight yarn.

This design was first published in issue 24 of Amirisu.

The shawl vest is knit flat from the center out, on the bias. 

The main part of the shawl vest is knitted in Brioche and Garter stitch using two different shades. For the contrasting collar, stitches are picked up and then worked in Garter stitch. All edges are finished with contrasting i-cords.

3 colors of Fingering weight yarn

Shown in Isager Highland Wool (100% wool, 300 yards / 275 m, 50g) in the colorways Ice Blue (A), Ocean (B), and Curry (CC)

YARDAGE 

Color A: 945 (945, 1445, 1445) yards / 860 (860, 1320, 1320) m / 4 (4, 5, 5) skeins*

A US 4 (3.5 mm) 32” / 80 cm (or longer) circular needle 

A US 7 (4.5 mm) circular needle or DPN for bind-off

The photos in Amirisu are of the sample in size XS-S on a 5’ 7” / 170 cm tall model with 32½”/ 82 cm positive ease at bust. 

SOSU is 5’ 3” / 160 cm tall and wears the same sample size (although size M/L would be a better fit, especially at the armholes).

Notes 

背中心裾から往復編みで斜めに編んでいくショールベスト. 本体はブリ 

オッシュ地とガーター地を2色で編む. 各段を色を変えながら2回ずつ編む. つまり, RS段をAで編んだ後, 全ての目を反対側の針にスライドし, 2回目のRS段をBで編む. 編み地を返し, WS段をAで編み, 全ての目を反対側の針にスライドし, 2回目のRS段をBで編む. それぞれの段を何色で編むかは段の初めに示している. Sl1YOは１目と数える事. 各段の最初の目は表目, 最後の目はうき目で編む. 襟はCCで本体から目を拾ってガーター編みする.その後, 本体の周囲から目を拾いI-Cord Bind Offで1周する.

Conflux ist eine Schalweste mit einfacher rechteckiger Form. 

Die nahtlose Konstruktion wird modulare auf der Diagonalen in zweifarbigem Patent und Kraus-Rechts gestrickt.

Dieses Design ist ursprünglich in Ausgabe 24 des Amirisu Magazins erschienen.

Die Schalweste wird auf der Diagonalen von der unteren Mitte nach oben und außen gestrickt. Der Hauptteil wird zweifarbig in einem Patent- und Kraus-Rechts-Rippenmuster gestrickt. Für den Kragen in Kontrastfarbe werden Maschen aufgenommen und dann in Kraus-Rechts gearbeitet. Für einen sauberen Abschluss werden Maschen rund um die Weste und die Armlöcher aufgenommen und mit einem I-Cord abgekettet.
