Bakery Pricing Calculator

Many home bakers undercharge. Enter ingredient, packaging and labor costs, and this calculator shows the cost per item and a suggested price.

HOW IT WORKS

1. Open the workbook and read its Start Here tab.
2. Set your wage, overhead and markup in Settings.
3. Enter your ingredient package prices and sizes.
4. Add each recipe, one ingredient per row, for one batch.
5. Enter yield, packaging, labor minutes and your current price on Pricing, then fix anything flagged.

WHAT YOU NEED

Microsoft Excel, or free Google Sheets (upload to Google Drive, then Open with > Google Sheets).
