The title of the design challenge from Hobbii Yarns was simply ‘Cook’. These sorts of shapes are normally made in the round and with crochet. My mum struggles with knitting in the round and prefers flat knits that are seamed. So put these three elements together and here you have flat knit three dimensional vegetables. Perfect for the adventurous beginner.

Skill Level

Knitted in the flat using the same needle size throughout each piece is then seamed using mattress stitch before stuffing and finishing. Adventurous beginner, written instructions only. Please note the Pumpkin utilises a crochet curl to create the tendrils.
