Blood Kind is a work of original fiction in 14 chapters, about Ben (aka Josh), who makes illegal passports for a living, and has a jaded view of humanity. When he has a blood transfusion, he begins to change, and become kind! This change threatens his whole perception of himself, his livelihood – and then his life!
Each chapter ends with a narrative hook and discussion questions. The story is told at ‘entering intermediate level’, and is aimed at adult and young adult learners. It would suit learners at strong A2 or B1 in the CEFR levels, or EAL3 in Australia.
