solstice regent suri lace (60% alpaca/40% merino); alternate
option: solstice lumiere lace (80% merino, 10% cashmere,

Notes are given to work pattern in fingering weight yarn
(you will need about: 420yds (384m) 100g).
A note about yarn choice:
Color: Original was worked in a solid color, which brings out
the stitch definition best, however it would work with any yarn color you choose (marbled, hand painted, speckled)
Fiber content: A woolly fiber type will give this shawl nice structure and texture, however a plant based fiber will give more drape.
Notions:
Harness (Needle): US3 (3.25mm) 40” circular needle (US4 /3.5mm for fingering weight) Belay device (Darning needle); Quickdraws (stitch markers: 8-10 matching; 1 edge)

Notes are given to work a larger lace weight shawl, or a smaller shawl in fingering weight yarn if desired.
