Grief Journal - First 30 Days After Child Loss. Gentle Grief Worksheets for Bereaved Parents. Grief Support Digital. Sympathy Gift
The First 30 Days
Gentle pages for the earliest days after losing your child.
Part of the I Am Grieving, Now What? – Mothers Edition series.
NEW: FILLABLE PDF. Type or write right on your tablet or laptop, from wherever you can rest. No printing needed. The fillable file is US Letter; the printable US Letter and A4 pages with writing lines are still included.
In the first weeks, a full workbook is too much. These pages are small on purpose. Use one, skip the rest, and come back whenever you can. You don't have to do this right. You only have to get through today, and some days, just this hour.
A gentle introduction before every page. Each one explains, in just a few soft lines, why the page is there and how it can help, grounded in respected grief research. Read it or skip it; both are okay.

A GENTLE GIFT
If someone you love has just lost a child, this is something small you can give that asks nothing of them. Print it, tuck it into a card or a meal drop-off, or send the download.
HOW IT WORKS
- This is a digital download. Nothing will be shipped to you.
- After checkout, your download page opens right away, and the download link is in your Payhip receipt email.
- Fillable file: open it in a PDF app that supports form fields (for example Adobe Acrobat Reader, Preview on Mac, or Chrome or Edge on a computer, or a PDF app on your tablet). Tap a box and type. Save your copy as you go.
- Prefer to handwrite? Use your PDF app's pen or draw tool, or print the pages with writing lines.
- Print a single page or the whole book, as many times as you need for your own personal use.
A NOTE FROM ME
Hi, I'm Niki. I made these pages after losing my daughter, Harper. I'm not a therapist. I'm a mom who has walked this road, read everything I could find, and leads The Ugly Cry Club, a group for grieving mothers. I'm also a certified grief educator. Every page is written the way I wish someone had spoken to me: gently, honestly, and without a timeline.
Real tears. Real love.

PLEASE NOTE
- Fillable fields work best in Adobe Acrobat Reader. Some free PDF apps don't support fillable fields; if yours doesn't, use the printable files.
- This workbook is a gentle companion. It is not therapy and is not a substitute for care from a licensed professional. If you are in crisis or thinking about ending your life, please call or text 988 (U.S.) or your local emergency number.
- For personal use only. Please don't share, resell, or redistribute the files. Grief group leaders and counselors, please message me about group use.
- Because this is a digital file, returns and exchanges aren't accepted. If anything is wrong with your download, message me and I'll make it right.
- Colors may look slightly different depending on your screen and printer.
