1,006 distinct questions, each with a full explanation. Six different 150-question mocks on a 210-minute clock, with a score for each of the six exam domains at the end. Then go back through every question you missed: why the right answer is right, what each wrong answer was built out of, the detail in the question that rules it out, and when that wrong answer would have been right. Everything works offline once downloaded, and the app opens in your browser. The files are yours to keep.

What you get

  • Practice-exam app with six 150-question timed mocks. Each mock is a fixed-length form of 150 questions

in 210 minutes. The real National Registry Paramedic exam is computer-adaptive: it runs from 110 to 150 questions and allows up to 210 minutes, so each mock matches the exam at its longest. Questions are drawn in the same proportions on every mock, set inside the published test-plan ranges (Clinical Judgment 34%, Medical/Obstetrics/Gynecology 26%, Cardiology and Resuscitation 12%, Airway, Respiration and Ventilation 10%, EMS Operations 10%, Trauma 8%). You get a score report by domain at the end of each mock. The six mocks use 900 different questions between them.

  • 1,006 distinct practice questions in the app, each with a full explanation. A study mode lets you

work them by domain with the explanation shown after each answer.

  • The book: Practice Questions for the Paramedic National Registry Certification Exam (EPUB and PDF).

It prints 341 of the app's questions, organized as a 23-question diagnostic that returns a study order rather than a score, one chapter per domain, two timed practice exams of 136 questions each, and a 40-item second-best-answer drill, with a misconception index and a test-plan cross-reference.

  • 80 key-term flashcards in four ready files: an Anki deck (.apkg), a CSV, a Quizlet/Brainscape import

file, and printable cut-out cards (PDF). The Anki file also carries all 1,006 practice questions as a second deck, so you can drill the question bank with spaced repetition.

  • Six one-page cheat sheets, one per exam domain, with the traps each domain sets.
  • A 30-day and a 60-day study planner (PDF).
  • A 270-term glossary (PDF).

How the numbers fit together

The app holds 1,006 questions. The book prints 341 of them; the other 665 are app-only. So the bundle is 1,006 questions in total, not 1,006 on top of the book. The book's two practice exams (136 questions each) come from the book's 341; the app's six mocks (150 questions each) draw on the full 1,006.

The real exam is computer-adaptive: it stops somewhere between 110 and 150 questions, 20 of which are unscored pilot questions, and allows up to 210 minutes. The app's mocks always give you all 150 on the full 210-minute clock, about 84 seconds a question. The mock score is a percent correct on practice questions; it is not the exam's scaled score and does not predict a pass.

What it is, and what it is not

  • Independent practice material. The app is not an official exam simulator, and it does not adapt to your

answers the way the real exam does. This bundle is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or approved by the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians.

  • Every question is original, written to the published exam blueprint: the Paramedic test plan effective

1 July 2024. No question is taken from, or modeled on, any real exam question.

  • Every question here is single-answer multiple choice with four options. The real exam also uses multiple

response, build list, drag-and-drop, options box and graphical items (tracings, photographs); expect those on screen on exam day, testing the same content.

  • The domain proportions are set inside the ranges the test plan publishes (for example Clinical Judgment

34-38%, Trauma 6-10%); they are not fixed percentages from the National Registry.

  • No product can promise a result.

FAQ

How many questions do I get? 1,006 distinct questions in the app. The book prints 341 of those same questions; the other 665 are only in the app.

How many timed mocks? Six in the app, 150 questions in 210 minutes each. The real exam is computer-adaptive and runs from 110 to 150 questions, so the mocks give you its longest form every time. The book adds two 136-question practice exams on paper.

How many flashcards? 80 key-term cards, covering the six domains. The Anki file also holds the 1,006 practice questions as a second deck. The bundle's volume is in the question bank and the mocks, not the key-term cards.

Is the app the official exam simulator? No. It is independent practice material, written to the published test plan. It is not made, checked or endorsed by the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians, and it is not adaptive.

Do I need internet? Only to download. After that the app, the book and every extra work offline.
