• Read a crochet pattern (there is NOT a video tutorial for this crochet pattern!)
• Work the basic stitches: Chain, Half Double Crochet
• Work in the Back Loop Only or be willing to learn
• Place multiple stitches into one stitch (increasing)
• How to decrease half double crochet (such as hdc2tog or hdc3tog) or be willing to learn.

THIS IS NOT A BEGINNER PATTERN! Absolute Beginners will find this pattern outside of their skill level. Advanced Beginners who are familiar with the techniques above and/or are willing to learn new techniques should have no problems, especially with the step-by-step photo tutorial included.

SIZE

Approximately 50 inches x 42 inches.

It is very easy to customize the size and shape (rectangle or square) and how to do so is explained in the pattern.

YARN REQUIRED

You will need Bulky (5) weight yarn. You will need approximately: 52 oz/ 1475g/ 1400 yards.

You can make this blanket with a lighter or heavier weight yarn or with a different fiber, if you prefer. Using a different weight or fiber will change the size of the blanket. The yarn usage listed is for Bulky (5) weight only.

If you alter the pattern in any way, including changing yarn weight, your yarn usage will be different than listed.

Yarn Used: Red Heart Hygge in Pearl.
