Made almost entirely in half double crochet stitches, we use stitch techniques to manipulate the half double crochet stitches to create gorgeous ribbing and squishy, waffle like texture.

SKILL LEVEL

ADVANCED BEGINNER - Crocheters looking to follow this pattern should know how to:

• Read a crochet pattern - There is NOT a video tutorial for this textured crochet blanket pattern
• Work the basic stitches - Chain, slip stitch, single crochet, and half double crochet.
• Place stitches in the Back Loop Only (BLO), Front Loop Only (FLO) and 3rd Loop Only (3LO) or be willing to learn.
• Work a border (if you prefer one, the border in this easy crochet blanket pattern is optional).

This is NOT a beginner pattern! If you're only just learning to crochet, this crochet blanket pattern will be outside of your skill level. You will need Medium (4) weight yarn in wool, acrylic or a blend of the two fibers. You will need approximately: 

Baby Blanket: 340 g / 765 yds / 12 oz

Child Throw: 910 g / 2,048 yds / 33 oz

Medium Throw: 1,162 g / 2,615 yds / 41 oz

Large Throw: 1,678 g / 3,776 yds / 60 oz

If you alter the pattern in any way, your yarn usage will be different than listed.

Yarn Used: Lion Brand Pound of Love in colorway Terracotta - 100% Premium Acrylic. 16 oz / 454g - 1,020 yds / 932 m per skein.
