'Hope is the thing with Feathers...' -Emily Dickinson

The Seeds of Hope Beanie uses the Blackberry stitch to create a sporty beanie that can be worn on its own or as a complement to my Seeds of Hope Cowl. The Blackberry Stitch, a staple of Aran knitwear, is the only aran stitch that is worked on the wrong side of the piece. The stitch has been modified to be worked in the round; instead of turning the work, the beanie is knit entirely on the wrong side. You’ll see the ‘blackberries’ forming on the inside of the hat until you finish it and flip the right side to face out.

This pattern is written in four different sizes, enabling the knitter to choose the size that will give them either a sporty, fitted look or a looser, slouchy style.

Please note that is purchase is for the knitting pattern. You'll receive a digital copy of the pattern. Please see my commissions if you'd like to purchase a knit hat.
