Adoptable Terms of Service

By purchasing or obtaining this adoptable, you agree to the following terms.

Ownership

• Upon purchase, ownership of the character design transfers to the buyer.
• The original artwork remains copyrighted by SleepyEvermore unless otherwise stated.
• You may rename the character, develop their story, personality, and lore, and make changes to the design.
• Minor edits, redesigns, alternate outfits, and forms are allowed.

Personal Use

Personal use includes, but is not limited to:

• Roleplay
• Social media profiles and content
• Personal artwork and commissions
• VRChat personal avatars
• Character development and storytelling
• Non-commercial projects

Credit is appreciated but not required for personal use.

Commercial Use

Commercial use includes:

Product Sales

Using the character or artwork on physical or digital products for sale, including:

• Stickers
• Prints
• Keychains
• Apparel
• Mugs
• Templates
• Merchandise

Business Branding

Using the character for:

• Business mascots
• Branding materials
• Marketing campaigns
• Advertisements
• Website graphics
• Promotional content

Media & Publishing

Featuring the character in:

• Video games
• Books
• Comics
• Visual novels
• Streaming assets
• Album covers
• Monetized content

VRChat Commercial Use

VRChat creators may create avatars based on the adoptable and sell those avatars commercially.

Requirements:

• Visible credit to SleepyEvermore as the original character designer must be provided on the store page, product page, booth listing, Gumroad, Payhip, Discord ticket, or equivalent sales platform.
• Credit should clearly state: “Original Character Design by SleepyEvermore.”

Failure to provide proper credit constitutes a violation of this license. Commercial permissions may be terminated until the violation is corrected, and you may be asked to cease distribution or sales of products using the design.

Prohibited Uses

You may NOT:

• Claim the original design was created by you.
• Resell, redistribute, or give away the original adoptable artwork files.
• Mint the artwork or design as NFTs.
• Use the character for hateful, discriminatory, or illegal content.
• Charge back or reverse payments after receiving the adoptable.

Reselling & Trading

• You may resell, trade, or gift the character.
• The character may not be resold for more than its original value unless additional commissioned artwork, references, or assets are included.
• Please provide proof of ownership when transferring the character.

Credit

For commercial projects, credit to SleepyEvermore as the original designer is required.

For personal projects, credit is appreciated but optional.

I reserve the right to display the original artwork in portfolios, social media posts, commission examples, and promotional materials unless otherwise agreed upon.
