Update, 11-17-25:
Already an update only days after its release! I took a further look at Plini's tones and noticed he was using dual cabs and different mics for each, so I updated the preset to include this, along with the correct settings for all Snapshots. In this Signature Helix LT preset—also compatible with Helix Floor, Helix Native, and Helix Rack—you'll be getting the Plini signature tones I created based on my extensive research from various sources like interviews, courses, and Plini's music.
I spent several hours listening to and developing these tones, matching the sounds as closely as I could, and I'm quite pleased with the results. I've included several familiar effects in the preset based on Plini's most popular tones he uses live and on his albums, EPs, and singles.
"Hey. I just wanted to let you know I got your preset. It's actually the best one I've used yet!" - Phil A.
In this preset pack, you'll get the following snapshots:
Snapshot 1: Main- Plini's basic lead tone, found in songs like "Ona/1154" and many others.
- Introduces an interesting technique Plini uses to achieve a warm lead tone.
- A Plini preset wouldn't be authentic without a dual octave effect similar to what he uses in songs like "Pan" and others.
- A simple clean sound for use when necessary.
- Gives you that lush ambient sound in the distance characteristic to Plini's playing.
- Similar to the Clean Snapshot, but disables the Cabinet block, enables Chorus, and adjusts several other parameters for a bit more top-end.
- With this sound, I was going for something similar to the rhythm sections for songs like "Cascade," with the Horizon Drive engaged for the extra punch from the gate.
- Similar to ChugRthm but with the Pitch block enabled and reduced to a single octavel, as well as an enabled Chorus block for a wider stereo effect.
- Main
- Drive Lead
- Pan Lead
- Clean
As with all my presets, once you purchase my presets, whenever significant changes are made as I continue to tweak the tones you'll always have the most up-to-date versions.
