You will need the following information for the Pattern Tailor to generate your personal horizontal bust dart for a garment. This dart is for the garment you submitted only. There is a different calculator to be used for Cardigans!

Information You Need for the Bust Dart Calculator

2. Do you want to record data about your yarn in grams or ounces?
3. Do you want to record data about your yarn in yards or meters?
4. Do you want your measurements in inches or cm?
5. What is your blocked stitch gauge over 4" or 10 cm? Go here for information on measuring blocked gauge.
6. What is your blocked round / row gauge over 4" or 10 cm?  
7. What is the row multiple of your stitch pattern?
8. Bust Circumference measurement? See Bust, at the widest point, parallel to the floor.
9. Band Circumference measurement?
10. Width from Bust Point (BP) to Bust Point? See Measuring between bust points at bust level.
11. Depth between Upper Bust and Full Bust at Center Front? See Measuring Upper Bust to Full Bust at Center Front.
12. Depth between Upper Bust and Full Bust at Side Seam? See Measuring Upper Bust to Full Bust at Center Front.
13. What is the body depth of your sweater?
14. Stitches on Front of Garment? This will be one-half your total stitches if you are working in the round, or the stitches in the front piece if working flat. If you have made an adjustment so your front is larger than your back, that is cool. Just use the number of total stitches at the Bust.
