Check Before You Pay is an independent Australian support invoice checker designed for participants, nominees and families reviewing disability support invoices, including invoices for NDIS funded supports.

Compare billed details with your own record of what was delivered. Check hours or units, service dates, support not received, arithmetic, travel and cancellation charges, possible duplicates on the same device, and pricing or provider information you independently verified and entered.

Create a factual evidence summary you can print or save as PDF, copy as text or export as case data. Flags identify information that may need checking; they do not establish fraud or make a legal decision.

DEVICE AND FILE IMPORT

Use a current desktop or laptop browser for the best experience. Download and unzip the package, then open the HTML file. Downloaded HTML and local file selection can behave differently on phones and tablets.

Manual entry and pasted text are available. Best effort import supports selectable text PDF, PNG, JPEG, WebP, CSV, TXT and JSON up to 10 MB. PDF and image import require internet access to load document reading components from jsDelivr. OCR can make mistakes. Review every imported field against the original invoice.

PRIVACY

No account is required. Participant name, NDIS number and diagnosis are not required. The tool processes details in your browser and does not intentionally upload invoices to a Check Before You Pay server. Third party import code runs in the browser; normal connection metadata may be visible to jsDelivr. Extracted or pasted text is cleared after parsing by default. Raw invoice text is excluded from exported case data. Optional duplicate history stays in the browser, is off by default and can be deleted.

IMPORTANT SCOPE

Version 1.0 does not automatically download government price tables or provider databases. Independently verify current official information where it matters.

This product does not determine fraud, misconduct, legal liability, registration compliance, entitlement or whether money is owed. It is not legal, accounting, tax, financial or other professional advice. It does not connect participants with providers, arrange supports, submit claims, act as a plan manager or process NDIS plan payments.
