Soulful Gentle Yoga
Gentle Yoga - a slow-flowing style that focuses on postures that awaken awareness while relaxing the body and mind. The movements and transitions are gentle. This allows you to carefully and safely enter and exit the asanas. Also, gives you enough time to place any aids/props and make subtle adjustments. The combination of silence or soothing music, rejuvenating postures, and deep relaxation brings refreshment to both the body and mind. Simple breathing exercises and guided meditation exercises further enhance the beneficial effects of the asanas and prepare you for your home practice.
To whom?
A great course for beginners as well as for all, especially 40+, who want a gentle, non-strenuous, calming, yet strengthening (e.g., after recovery, prolonged inactivity, after a very exhausting day, etc.), and rejuvenating yoga experience.
It calms, soothes, recharges, and helps focus better.
I invite ladies with no requirements regarding previous yoga skills or practice.

More on Gentle Yoga
Not all of us have been blessed with a naturally very flexible body, so we need to remind our bodies of its youthful flexibility. This is one way to help ourselves and enjoy a healthy aging process.
Slow, intentional stretching is essential for our joints, connective tissue, fascia, lymphatic system, and more.
Also, we want to bring awareness and consciousness not only to our posture and movements but also to our tissues and organs.
Deep, slow breathing is a great help in this, as well as assists in the proper oxygenation of our organism.
Our conscious breath is a sacred vehicle of energy and consciousness as well.
Therefore, gentle yoga is refreshing, rejuvenating, calming, centering; moreover, it provides us with more "space" or opportunities to connect with our inner being.

- If you wish, bring your yoga mat with you.
- I also suggest a large-sized clean Beach Towel that you can fold or roll up as a prop if/when needed.
- If you have yoga bricks, you may want to bring those also with you.
-
I recommend wearing cotton leggings and tops.
For better breathing of the skin and better adhesion with the skin (e.g., for the tree pose), and the mat.
Stretchy leggings and bodyfit T-shirts are the most helpful for comfort and quick control over your posture at a glance.

A few words about me
Sports and exercise have always been an important activity, experience, and source of joy for me.
As a child, I used different body positions, similar to yoga asanas, instinctively in various situations, especially when I was studying, doing my homework, or sitting at my desk for a longer period of time. I used to take a break and change my energy with a certain position. Then get back to my desk.
I learned about hatha yoga, as such, around 1990, but at that time, I still preferred playing dynamic sports, such as tennis, badminton, kayaking, or swimming.
I began to pay more attention to and cultivate yoga asanas around age 40-45, while working as a Personal Assistant in Geneva, and the long hours of sitting at a desk and using a computer started to take a toll on my body. The usual jogging and stretching were not sufficient anymore; I needed something deeper and more specific for certain bodily issues.
I obtained my Hatha Yoga Teacher Certification in 2015, attending a five-month-long training at the ‘Pilgrimage of the Heart’ Yoga Studio in San Diego (California, USA).
My life is dedicated to Integral Yoga, a combination of meditation, sports, music, and reading, studying spiritual-philosophical literature, since 1994, with the guidance of the world-renowned spiritual teacher, Sri Chinmoy, and as a member of the Sri Chinmoy Meditation Centers International.
I began giving lectures and courses -as a community service- on meditation and the lifestyle that supports a meditation practice in Seattle, USA, in 1995, and later in Europe in English and Hungarian.
