A Girl by the Window - Lesson Plan

This lesson is designed to develop students' imagination and creative use of language.

It includes a variety of discussion and conversation tasks that you can use to get students empathising with the girl, thinking and talking about why she is there and how she feels.

These are followed by:

• A creative dialogue task based around a text message conversation.
• A language focus tasks that explores the difference between present perfect simple and present perfect continuous.
• A creative writing task that gets the students to write about the girl in five years time.
• Digital creation follow-up tasks
