Image Scenarios - The Phone Call

Your students will enjoy building the backstory to this image of two girls using 20th-century phones in a park. Why are they there? Who are they talking to? Who is taking the photograph?

After building their backstory, students will become the girls and role-play one of a number of possible scenarios that encourage them to use language in a spontaneous and creative way to achieve their aims.
