Tempest is a collection of handknit patterns by Vancouver knitwear designer, Holli Yeoh, for the artisan hand-dyed yarn company, SweetGeorgia Yarns.
Being on the West Coast, we tend to be pre-occupied with the weather, so it’s no surprise that we were inspired by the idea of the Tempest. Rainstorms. Cloudbursts. Monsoons. Tides rise and fall. Waves ebb and flow. Storms rage and we seek refuge from the wild and fierce Tempest. These designs embody both the shelter and the storm.
In its 84 pages, you’ll find 11 beautifully crafted patterns including garments, hats, mitts, cowls, and blankets.
#sizeinclusive to fit up to a 62" / 157.5 cm bust, plus ease.
This knitting book includes written directions, both lace chart and written instructions, schematics with measurements, articles on ease and working with hand-dyed yarns, and tutorials for Japanese short rows, bias bind off, picking up stitches, and double bind off.
