A contained practice for returning to resonance both in yourself and in the field

Every musician knows: instruments drift out of tune. The same is true of us. Resonance is not perfection; it's the willingness to notice when you've gone off, and to do the work of return.

But here's the truth: not every off-note is yours.

Sometimes the dissonance is internal from your nervous system, unresolved grief, a trauma pattern, or exhaustion. Other times, it's external whether a toxic workplace, a distorted relationship, collective sorrow, or from structural violence.

The Resonance Repair Kit is a two-part practice designed to help you discern the difference, and to guide you through the work of repair whether the off-note is in you, or in the room you're playing in.

What's Inside

Part 1: Internal Repair

When you are the one out of tune.

  • The Quick 6-Point Check (a deeper diagnostic to help you sense what's really happening)
  • Concrete, low-bar rituals to start thawing and clearing (somatic resets, breath work, grounding)
  • Medium work for hours or days (journaling prompts, gentle bodywork, noticing repeating stories)
  • Deeper tending for weeks or months (therapeutic support, grief practices, safe containers for feelings)
  • Gentle boundaries to hold while healing (protecting sleep, reducing decision load)
  • Signs you're returning to resonance (so you know repair has begun)

Part 2: External Repair

When the dissonance belongs to the system, the group, or the collective field.

  • Immediate relief (short boundaries, reducing exposure to triggering streams)
  • Relational repair (naming patterns aloud, using micro-conversations to shift tone)
  • Collective tending (creating or joining circles, system audits, small experiments that retune the field)
  • When to push for change (knowing when the field needs policy work, collective action, or an exit strategy)
  • Practices that bridge both internal and external (micro-witnessing, ritual pauses)

This is not a quick fix.

This practice asks for time, quiet, and uninterrupted attention. It will ask you to sit with what is tender, to name what is frozen, to release what you've been holding out of fear or habit. It may ask you to have difficult conversations, to set boundaries, or to step back from spaces that are beyond repair.

That's not failure, it is actually discernment.

The Resonance Repair Kit isn't about fixing yourself. It's about honest attunement, which is learning to sense when you're in coherence, when you're absorbing distortion from the system, and how to return without hardening or collapsing.

This is designed to be done slowly, in one or more sittings. There is no outcome required, waiting is part of the work and you don't need to do it alone, one of the pathways inside is about finding someone to witness you.
