Amphi Mitts
Amphi Mitts are fingerless mitts featuring checkered slip-stitch colorwork on one side and stripes on the other. Both of these techniques involve working with only one color at a time. The ribbing is done in a 3rd neutral color for a polished look.
These mitts can be worn with stripes showing or the checkered slip-stitch pattern showing on both hands.
The word “Amphi” is a prefix that means on both sides, on all sides, or double.
Check out my CUTILITARIAN KNITS (cute+utilitarian) collection! Amphi is one of four patterns from the collection of versatile pieces that can be easily thrown over any outfit. The patterns primarily utilize knit-purl stitches and feature comforting elements such as stripes, checks, ribbing, and clean lines.
