DESCRIPTION

Wychwood Cardigan is a lighter-weight version of the Wychwood pullover. This cardigan takes the signature elements of the original pattern — seamless top-down compound raglan with a wide, twin-leaf lace panel — and puts a summery spin on them.

Worked in fingering-weight yarn, Wychwood Cardigan features a striking lace panel flowing down the center back from neckline to hem. The majority of the garment is worked in stockinette but additional leaf-lace details decorate the hem and sleeve cuffs before blending smoothly into twisted ribbing. The cardigan is finished in a continuous button band worked in twisted ribbing, mitered corners, and yarnover buttonholes.

Compound raglan shaping is used to provide a refined fit that follows the body's natural lines. Optional vertical bust darts and waist shaping allow for further customizing the garment to your liking.

Wychwood Cardigan is available in 10 sizes from XS to 6X and includes both charted and written lace instructions, with measurements given in metric and US units.
