I always planned on writing a plethora of poetry books but I never thought it would be during a lockdown. I had even planned on titling this book, Love During the Time of COVID, because this time is hella reminiscent of the cholera pandemic. Alas, this time, the world is much more perilous than it was over a century ago. Nevertheless, there is still room for love and during this time, I've met some new friends and lovers. This poetry chapbook was inspired by the people I have met either online or in person, during the COVID-19 pandemic. Right now, more than ever, people are trying to stay in contact with each other and even meet new people. I did not fair so well (haha), but it gave me the motivation to write 85 poems about love, life and everything in between.
