The karmic conditions of the six realms of reincarnation 六道轮回的因缘

Ananda earnestly requested the World-Honored One to explain how the six realms of reincarnation are formed, and what causes sentient beings enter their individual paths of reincarnation. All sentient beings in this Saha world, regardless of whether they die of old age, sickness, or other causes, will undergo a set of ten realms of reincarnation—the six realms of reincarnation observed by the Buddha at the time of his enlightenment under the Buddha-tree! These six realms are: the realm of gods, the realm of asuras, the realm of humans (the three good realms), and the realms of animals, hungry ghosts, and hell (the three evil realms). Sentient beings who perform good deeds and uphold precepts in their previous lives, accumulating merit, can be reborn in the first three realms to enjoy happiness; if they commit evil deeds and harm others, they will fall into the latter three realms to suffer.

The "Three Evil Paths" refer to the six realms of hell, hungry ghosts, etc. These six realms are divided according to the karma created by sentient beings and their different habits. Sentient beings will be reborn in these six realms continuously, forming an endless cycle. The process of sentient beings being reborn in the six life forms (heavenly realm, human realm, asura realm, hell realm, hungry ghost realm, and animal realm) according to their karma in their previous lives is also known as the "Six Realms of Rebirth".

阿难恳请世尊开示六道轮回是如何形成？众生又因何种因缘进入个别的轮回方向？一切娑婆有情众生不论是老死,病死或其他原因往生后会经过一套十法界轮回的法则那是我在佛提树下证到无上佛提所观察到的六道轮回境界！这六道是：天道、阿修罗道、人道（三善道）以及畜生道、饿鬼道、地狱道（三恶道）。众生在生前行善、持戒,累计功德可生于前三道享乐，若造作恶业伤天害理则会堕入后三道受苦。 

三恶道”指的是：地狱道、饿鬼...这六道是根据众生平时所造的业力召感而来因不同习性而划分的，众生会在这六道中不断转生，形成一个无尽的循环过程。其中，众生依生前业力在六种生命形态（天道、人道、阿修罗道、地狱道、饿鬼道、畜生道）中循环转生的过程，又称“六趣轮回”。
