He very skilfully attracts the reader and shows his world around where there are emotions, stories, and events. The book is highly recommended for those who really want to learn that how ordinary words can tell extra ordinary stories. Great to have this book.

اظہار کی صنف کچھ بھی ہو عاطف اپنے اسلوب کی وجہ سے ہر جگہ منفرد اور نمایاں نظر آتا ہے. بیانیہ بےباک، شدت احساس کے باوجود لب ولہجہ متوازن. شعوری پختگی عاطف کو جذبات سے مغلوب نہیں ہونے دیتی.
مستند نثر نگاری کے بعد ہمیں عاطف ایک شاعر کے روپ نہاں سے عیاں ہوتے نظر ہیں. سلیس زبان میں مشکل بات کہنا عاطف کا خاصہ رہا ہے. اس کاوش میں بھی کامیاب رہے ہیں. یہ عطا ہی سکتی ہے.
اس کا تعین یقیناً مشکل ہے کہ شاعری کا یہاں اظہار اردو میں بہتر ہے یا پنجابی میں بہترین رہا. سچ تو یہ کے احساس زبانوں و بیان کا محتاج نہیں ہوا کرتا. احساس کی شدت الفاظ کو خود حوالگی کے لیے مجبور کر دیا کرتی ہے. عاطف کے مشاہدے کا کینوس وسیع تر، موضوعات منفرد اور اظہار احساسات کی سچائی کا آئینہ دار ہے.
مدت بعد ایک اچھی کتاب نصیب ہوئی جس نے حصار ذات سے نکلنے کا موقع فراہم کیا. قاری آغاز میں تو اچھے مقلد کی طرح پیچھے پیچھے چلنے پر آمادہ ہو جاتا ہے. تاہم جلد جان جاتا کہ اب ان وادیوں مین مزید سفر خود کرنا ہوگا. جلد قاری اپنے تجربات کو عاطف کے مشاہدات سے ہم آہنگ پاتا ہے. تخلیق کار ہمیشہ ثابت کر دیا کرتے ہیں کہ جس عدسے سے بھی دیکھیں
دنیاوی حقائق بلاشبہہ ایک جیسے ہی ہیں. صاحبان ذوق کو دعوت خاص ہے.
