Joseph Made Simple
Joseph the dreamer is sold by his own brothers, carried down to Egypt, and forgotten in a prison he did not deserve. But the Lord is with him — in the pit, in Potiphar's house, in Pharaoh's prison, and in the palace. Thirteen years after the betrayal, Joseph stands at Pharaoh's right hand, feeding the nations — and forgives the brothers who meant him evil (Genesis 37; 50:20).
Joseph Made Simple is a Bible-first walk through Genesis 37-50 and the theology of God's sovereignty: the dreams God plants before He gives the wisdom to carry them, the vertical holiness that flees temptation, the prison seasons that forge faithfulness, the humility that gives God the credit, and the forgiveness that traces God's hand through man's harm.
Explicitly Trinitarian: God the Father who plans — He meant it unto good before the brothers lifted a hand; Jesus Christ — Son of God and Son of Man, Lord and Savior — the greater Joseph, betrayed for silver, buried in the pit of death, and raised to the Father's right hand; and the Holy Spirit, who alone turns wounds into wisdom, waiting into worship, and bitterness into blessing. Every prayer is to the Father, through Jesus Christ, by the Holy Spirit.
Read one chapter a day. Come honest. Read slowly. Forgive deeply.
