The scarf weighs 10 oz.

This thick, soft scarf was handwoven using 100% baby alpaca for the warp and alternating picks of bulky and mega bulky handspun Falkland wool for the weft. The resulting fabric is a subtle, white-on-white checked tweed.

The baby alpaca yarn is super soft and also lends a bit of shine. The thicker handspun Falkland wool creates a plush fabric.

All my handwoven scarves are either one-of-a-kind or limited edition. When I repeat a particular weaving draft, I tend to use different colors and/or yarns, so that all my scarves are unique!

Perfect for a man or woman who prefers natural fiber accessories!

Each scarf bears my (washable) cork label.

Care

Handwash, in lukewarm water with mild soap. A bit of hair conditioner can be added to the rinse water. Spin out water in the spin-only washer cycle, then lay flat to dry.
