Naked

“Intermediate” and “Advanced” are subjective terms. This is not the best choice for someone who prefers to work with videos and photographs or for a beginning bag maker. This is a blank canvas waiting for your creative flair. Every part of the bag is clearly marked for matching and for placement of hardware.

Those accustomed to working with professional, commercial patterns will be able to easily follow the instruction set. I make it a point to test with non-native English speakers to assure the clarity of the instructions. The instructions are illustrated and go step by step.

The Naked bag is a classic that can be made in fabric, vinyl, garment weight leather or the combination of your choice. Use the pattern to make at least three different looking bags. There is the “bare naked” bag with a plain front and back. The “half naked” bag has a pocket on the front or back. The “evening gown” has a sweetheart pocket on the front, and a curved pocket on the back.

Distribution, copying in any form or re-selling PDF patterns in whole or in part is expressly forbidden. Please feel free to sell finished items you personally make using a Frankie T pattern. However, these patterns are not for use in mass production. Additionally, contracting a third party to reproduce the pattern pieces in any form or to produce finished bags made from our patterns is prohibited.However, copy shop printing for personal use is permitted.

We reserve the right to refuse to sell our patterns to any individual.

The “corset” has the sweetheart pocket on the front and the curved back pocket can be laced using eyelets. If you make the corset back, the eyelet placement is marked for you. You decide how you want to lace it. There are no rules. Top stitch and embellish as you wish to create your own look. Add as many rivets as you want and place them where you'd like. If you prefer to add shiny crystals and some lace, go ahead! Fringe? Feathers? Why not?
