THIS Water Could Change Your Health Forever!

What if I told you that one simple chemical could help to reduce your migraine?

The first element created at the inception of the universe and the chemical making up 10% of your body, often referred to as a proton is the element called Hydrogen.

From managing migraines to improving overall health, hydrogen is showing remarkable results throughout the healthcare world.

Let’s dive into the research, practical applications, and find out how you can incorporate hydrogen into your routine.

Hydrogen therapy uses molecular hydrogen (H₂), a powerful antioxidant, to combat oxidative stress and inflammation in the body. It can be administered through hydrogen-rich water or inhalation therapy. Today, we’ll focus on hydrogen water and its potential to improve health.

If you have been taking my Beyond Migraine Course you will know that Migraines are complex neurological disorders involving oxidative stress, inflammation, and mitochondrial dysfunction. Hydrogen therapy targets these underlying mechanisms.

  • Research published in Frontiers in Physiology shows that molecular hydrogen reduces reactive oxygen species (ROS) like hydroxyl radicals, which are elevated during migraines.
  • A study in the Journal of Headache and Pain found that daily consumption of hydrogen-rich water reduced migraine attacks from four per week to two per week for some participants1.
  • Another study published in BioMed Research International demonstrated that drinking hydrogen water alleviated migraine symptoms such as pain intensity, nausea, photophobia, and vomiting1. These findings highlight how hydrogen water’s antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties can make a significant difference for migraine sufferers.

Beyond Migraine

Molecular hydrogen works by selectively neutralizing harmful reactive oxygen species while preserving beneficial ones needed for cellular signalling. This reduces oxidative stress in the brain a key trigger for migraines.

Hydrogen also has anti-inflammatory effects, modulating cytokines like TNF-α and IL-1β, you would have heard me talk about these cytokines in the module on inflammation in my online course.

It also stabilizes mitochondrial function, our cellular factories which produce all our bodies energy preventing neuronal damage caused by energy depletion during an attack2.

Beyond migraine, hydrogen therapy has shown benefits across various health conditions:

  • A systematic review found that hydrogen-rich water improves endothelial function and lowers LDL cholesterol levels4. Patients with unstable angina experienced symptom relief when combining conventional medications hydrogen-rich water daily4.

  • Studies on patients with hepatitis B revealed that consuming hydrogen-rich water daily improved liver enzyme levels and reduced fat accumulation in the liver4.

  • Research from Nature showed that cancer patients drinking hydrogen-rich water had reduced anxiety and improved mood due to lower inflammatory markers like IL-6 and TNF-α6.

  • Athletes consuming hydrogen-rich water reported faster muscle recovery and reduced fatigue post-workout6."

Dissolvable tablets are the easiest way to prepare hydrogen-rich water at home or on the go. Here’s why they’re a great option:

  • Simply drop a tablet into 200–500 ml of water, wait for it to dissolve fully, and drink immediately to maximize antioxidant effects.
  • Studies recommend consuming 1–2 litres of hydrogen-rich water daily for optimal results split between morning and evening doses4. Tablets provide consistent hydrogen concentrations without requiring specialized equipment."

For acute conditions like migraines or oxidative stress emergencies, inhaling molecular hydrogen gas is highly effective. Research published in Scientific Reports found that inhalation delivers higher concentrations directly to tissues like the brain2.

Here’s how you can incorporate hydrogen therapy into your routine:

  1. Start with dissolvable tablets for drinking hydrogen-rich water—500 ml in the morning and 500 ml in the evening for preventive care.
  2. Use inhalation therapy early during the headache phase for faster relief if you have this available
  3. Regular use is key to reducing frequency and severity over time.

Hydrogen therapy is generally safe with minimal side effects and offers incredible potential for managing migraines while improving overall health, from cardiovascular function to mental well-being and liver health.

Dissolvable tablets make it easy to enjoy the benefits of hydrogen-rich water anytime, anywhere! Remember to record your findings in our Beyond Migraine Journal and please drop me a comment on social media if you have used hydrogen therapy before or if you have found it useful for your migraine.
