The "No-Damage" Care Rules:

Thermal stencils are incredibly sensitive to their environment. To prevent damaging your sheets, follow these professional protocols:

• Zero Moisture: Keep your stencils away from water, steam, or damp hands. Even a single drop of moisture will dissolve the carbon ink and ruin the pattern.

• Avoid Heat: Do not store them in cars or near heaters. High temperatures can cause the ink to "bleed" or transfer onto the backing sheet, making the stencil unusable.

• Pressure Sensitive: Do not stack heavy objects on top of your stencils. Excessive pressure can cause the carbon to transfer prematurely or smudge the fine lines.

Thermal stencils are designed for single use to ensure maximum precision. However, if handled correctly, you can typically get 2 to 4 stamps from a single shape. You can continue to reuse the stencil until the thermal ink on the paper has faded.

Will the design look the same every time?

Each subsequent stamp will be slightly lighter than the one before it as the ink transfers from the paper to the surface. For the most saturated results, the first stamp will always be the crispest.

Handle thermal stencils with care and keep them dry. Too much water, or an excess of lotion/gel during application, can cause the lines to blur and will ruin the stencil instantly. To ensure a clean transfer, it is essential that you follow the step-by-step instructions and the demonstration video provided with your purchase.

If you would like to reuse your stencil for a second or third application, let it dry for a few minutes before applying it again. This helps maintain the integrity of the lines.

Because we are a UK-based business, international banks (especially in the US) will sometimes automatically pause or decline cross-border transactions for your safety.
