About Me

I’m Brett Mallett, a former D1 pitcher who dealt with the yips for 5+ years.

I played 3 years at Santa Rosa JC, then went on to play Division 1 baseball at Jacksonville State and the University of the Pacific, where I earned my major in Sociology and minor in Psychology.

During my playing career, I worked with sports psychologists, coaches, therapists, and performance specialists trying to figure out why routine throws suddenly stopped feeling automatic.

I’ve learned from people in the sports psychology and nervous system space like Tom Hanson, Dr. Josh Heenan, and Richard Crowley, and I built Fix The Yips to simplify what actually helped me start taking the brakes off.

The Yips Be Gone System is the guide I wish I had earlier — a practical system built from my own experience, sports psychology work, nervous system tools, and field-tested resets to help players stop guessing and start rebuilding clean movement.

Yips Be Gone System

The guide I wish I had when I was dealing with the yips.

A practical system for athletes to understand the yips cycle, reset their nervous system, stop taking forced reps, and rebuild clean movement with tools they can use in practice and games.
