Homemade Baja Blast Recipe


Ingredients:

- 1 cup coconut water (for a tropical base)

- 1 cup limeade (freshly squeezed lime juice mixed with water and a bit of sugar, to taste)

- 1 cup lemon-lime soda (like Sprite or 7UP), or flavored seltzer

- 1 teaspoon blue spirulina powder (for color; optional)

- 1 tablespoon agave syrup or honey (adjust based on sweetness preference)

- Ice cubes

- Lime slices and mint leaves (for garnish)

Instructions:

1. Prepare Limeade:

- In a pitcher, combine 1 cup of freshly squeezed lime juice with 1 cup of water. Add sugar to taste, mixing until dissolved. This will serve as your limeade base.


2. Combine Ingredients:

- In a large mixing bowl or pitcher, combine the coconut water, limeade, and lemon-lime soda. Stir gently to mix without losing the carbonation.


3. Add Color:

- If using blue spirulina powder, add it gradually while stirring until you reach your desired color. This step is optional but gives the drink that iconic Baja Blast hue.


4. Sweeten:

- Add agave syrup or honey to the mixture, adjusting the sweetness to your liking.


5. Serve:

- Fill glasses with ice cubes and pour the Baja Blast mixture over the ice.


6. Garnish:

- Garnish with lime slices and fresh mint leaves for an extra refreshing touch.
