DIGITAL PRODUCT TERMS OF USE

These Terms of Use apply to digital products purchased from Home Decision Compass through Payhip. By completing a purchase and downloading or accessing a product, you agree to these terms.
- Digital Products
All products are delivered electronically. No physical item will be shipped. Product descriptions identify the files, formats, features, compatibility information and limitations included with each purchase.
- Personal-Use License
Your purchase grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable license to use the purchased files for your own personal household project.
You may print copies for your personal use and share relevant completed extracts with contractors, advisers, insurers, utilities or permitting authorities solely in connection with that household project.
- Prohibited Uses
You may not:
• resell, redistribute, sublicense or give away the original files;
• upload the files to public websites, shared drives, template libraries or file-sharing services;
• copy or modify the files for commercial resale;
• use the files as templates or deliverables for clients;
• remove copyright, attribution, license or disclaimer notices;
• claim the product or its contents as your own; or
• use the product in violation of applicable law.
- Intellectual Property
The digital products, text, workbook structure, graphics, guides, checklists and supporting materials are owned by or licensed to Home Decision Compass and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Purchasing a product does not transfer ownership of the product or its intellectual property.
- Educational and Organizational Purpose
Home Decision Compass products support education, organization, planning and comparison. They do not provide engineering, plumbing, construction, legal, insurance, tax, financial or other regulated professional advice.
The products do not diagnose property conditions, determine legal responsibility, establish code compliance, select or verify a contractor, guarantee savings, predict final project costs or guarantee project outcomes.
You remain responsible for verifying information and obtaining advice from appropriately qualified local professionals, contractors, utilities, insurers and governmental authorities.
- User Entries and Decisions
Calculations, summaries and comparisons depend on the information entered by the user. You are responsible for checking entries, formulas, assumptions, quotations and results before relying on them.
Any completed sample property, contractor, price or project information is fictional and is provided only to demonstrate the intended workflow.
- Software Compatibility
Microsoft Excel is recommended for Excel workbooks. Features, formulas, data validation, appearance and print layouts may vary in other spreadsheet applications, browser previews, tablets or mobile devices. A PDF reader is required for PDF files.
- Availability and Updates
We may correct, update or discontinue a product at any time. Unless expressly stated otherwise, a purchase does not include personalized assistance, future products, consulting services or unlimited updates.
- Refunds

- Disclaimer of Warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, digital products are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of accuracy, completeness, fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability or non-infringement.
Nothing in these terms excludes a warranty or consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded.
- Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Home Decision Compass and its owner will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, loss of profits, property loss, contractor disputes or project outcomes arising from use of, or inability to use, a digital product.
Where liability cannot lawfully be excluded, total liability relating to a purchase will not exceed the amount paid for that product, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
- Third-Party Services and Links
Products or sales pages may refer to third-party websites, software, contractors, agencies or services. Home Decision Compass does not control and is not responsible for their availability, content, practices or performance.
- Changes to These Terms
These terms may be updated for future purchases. The terms in effect at the time of purchase will apply to that transaction.
- Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws applicable to the seller in India, subject to any mandatory consumer protections that apply to the buyer. Any dispute should first be submitted to Home Decision Compass in writing so that the parties may attempt a reasonable resolution.
