Delulu is NOT the Solulu

You probably sense that a shift has happened in the air, but can’t quite put your finger on it. You have ideas floating around, but they don’t feel embodied. This is often what an internal reset feels like. Under the current societal conditions, though, there’s never really been a true reset. One that’s not cloaked in a consumeristic, corporatist robe. There have been reimaginings and reformations of it. New labels, new language. But the same system of proving, controlling, persuading, and hoarding is still there.

Even deep personal transformation happens under this influence. For example, healing usually gets monetized or validated to feel real. You see, an embodied reset doesn’t just tweak the system. It force quits it. It’s a complete shift in how you create, move, and exist. It moves from clarity, not confusion. Clarity, however, sees confusion for what it is. It’s a structure that calls itself proportional but resists anything that challenges it. Clarity moves like a dance. Confusion fights like a war. Clarity understands confusion’s logic. Confusion, on the other hand, can’t comprehend clarity’s vision. This process, as a result, feels so fragile, especially now.

Adjusting can feel like a compromise. Conflict resolution can feel like a battlefield. Isolation can feel like disassociation. Making things happen can feel like forcing them to happen. Allowing things to happen can feel like irresponsible passivity. This is a long game, not one that requires a final destination, or one where you’re repeating an old game with a different costume and a different playground.

The reset isn’t something that you’re waiting for. It’s something you are living into moment by moment, decision by decision, shift by shift. And, no, delulu is not the solulu. What you think it means is that reality is shaped by a forced belief. In other words, if you convince yourself of something hard enough, it’ll happen. But what it really means is to ignore the sharp edges of your reality and force yourself to believe even if it’s not grounded in anything.

It boggles my mind that this phrase has gained popularity as a way to encourage confidence and audacity. The conflict is that it blurs the line between embodied belief and wishful thinking. Manifestation isn’t about ignoring the sharp edges of your current reality. It’s understanding how to work with it, especially when it’s undesired and disorienting. If delusion were really the solution, then every fantasy would be a fact. Change happens when an empowered belief is backed by body-level alignment, action, and creative negotiation with the existing system.

An empowered reframe would be, conviction is the solution, not delusion. When you hit reset on your life, you are no longer pretending. Your confidence is not built on avoidance and denial, so it’s unfair to rebuild from that place. Don’t be delusional, be intentional.

In the meantime and in between time, please be kind and gentle with yourself, as I do the same.
