New Yorker, Miles Davis, p.k.a. Miles Jaye, was once the lead singing ‘Cop’ for the world-renowned Village People. Born in Yonkers on the Hudson in Westchester County, N.Y. and raised in Brooklyn's Bed-Stuy. He is known internationally as a hit songwriter/producer and jazz musician and is regarded as one of the most gifted vocalists in the business. Classically trained, Jaye has also made a name for himself as an accomplished jazz violinist.
Named after the legendary jazz trumpeter, Jaye, after much success in the music industry has set his sites on the Literary, Culinary, and Visual Arts. Iconic jazz musician/producer, George Duke said of Miles, "This guy can do it all and do it well." With such an array of interests and broad spectrum of expertise, it was no surprise that Miles Jaye's new venture is called simply, Miles Jaye Enterprises.
