What Is a Personalized Aromatherapy Kit?
A personalized aromatherapy kit is a curated set of:
- essential oils that are chosen by you
- various aromatherapy tools that allow the user to do additional things
Depending on your goals for the kit, you'll want to start with 5-10 versatile essential oils and some basic equipment. (More on this to follow.)
Having an assortment of both essential oils and aroma tools on hand will allow to you:
- Blend custom aromas based on mood, purpose, or personality
- Explore aromatherapy without committing to large quantities of oils
- Create personalized rollers, sprays, diffuser blends, or bath products

Most people find it helpful to focus on a theme of some kind. Having a theme provides clarity and gives you a tangible place to start, especially if aromatherapy is new for you.
You could group kits or recipes by:
- Emotional goals: Calm, focus, uplift, confidence, sensuality
- Body systems: Respiratory, immune, digestive, nervous, etc.
- Lifestyle needs: Study aid, sleep aid, travel, work-from-home focus, etc.
What to Include in a Personalized Kit
To get started you will need some base items:
- Small sized or sample sized bottles of essential oils (5–10 varieties, 1–5 ml each)
- Carrier oil (e.g., jojoba or fractionated coconut oil)
- Small spray bottle, roll-on bottle, or inhaler tube
- Droppers, pipettes, labels, blending chart
- Instructional information or blending guide
- Optional: diffuser

- 120 ml /4oz jojoba oil (as carrier oil for the roller blend)

Sample Blend Recipes
1. Calm Roller (10ml empty roller ball + tiny funnel)
- 2 drops Lavender
- 2 drops Bergamot
- 1 drop Frankincense
- Fill with jojoba oil (sunflower or grapeseed oil will also be fine)
2. Sleep Mist (30ml empty spray mist bottle)
- 4 drops Lavender
