How to create your personalized aromatherapy kit

What Is a Personalized Aromatherapy Kit?

A personalized aromatherapy kit is a curated set of:

  • essential oils that are chosen by you
  • various aromatherapy tools that allow the user to do additional things

Depending on your goals for the kit, you'll want to start with 5-10 versatile essential oils and some basic equipment. (More on this to follow.)

Having an assortment of both essential oils and aroma tools on hand will allow to you:

  • Blend custom aromas based on mood, purpose, or personality
  • Explore aromatherapy without committing to large quantities of oils
  • Create personalized rollers, sprays, diffuser blends, or bath products

Common Themes for Custom Kits

Most people find it helpful to focus on a theme of some kind. Having a theme provides clarity and gives you a tangible place to start, especially if aromatherapy is new for you.

You could group kits or recipes by:

  • Emotional goals: Calm, focus, uplift, confidence, sensuality
  • Body systems: Respiratory, immune, digestive, nervous, etc.
  • Lifestyle needs: Study aid, sleep aid, travel, work-from-home focus, etc.
