I am Paul Chifofoma, a licensed systemic psychotherapist based in Vienna, licensed under the Austrian Ministry of Health, and affiliated with the Austrian Association for Systemic Therapy (ÖAS). I work with individuals and couples in cross-cultural marriages and with adults who grew up between two cultures and people navigating the particular, often invisible weight of loving across cultures, raising children between two worlds, and building a life or a sense of self without a shared map to follow.

My clinical training in systemic therapy provided me with the necessary framework. My background in theology provided me with insights that clinical training alone could not — an understanding of why people remain, their beliefs about the cost of love, and the implications of choosing differently.
