Yiğitcan / Pufido (they/he), Berlin merkezli Türk örgü tasarımcısıdır.

Çocukken ilk kez elime örgü şişlerini aldım. Evde her zaman örgü ören biri olurdu. Annem ve halam sayesinde örgüyle ilgili çok şey öğrendim. O andan itibaren bu büyülü zanaata âşık oldum.

Tekstil Tasarımı okudum. Tasarımlarım genellikle beklenmedik detaylara, çarpıcı formlara ve güçlü bir tavra odaklanır. Her zaman yeninin peşindeyim ve fikirlerimi sonsuzluğa kadar geliştirmeye çalışıyorum. Farklı teknikler kullanarak renklerle oynamayı seviyorum; bazen de geleneksel bir elementi modern bir bakış açısıyla tasarımlarımda yeniden canlandırıyorum.

Yiğitcan / Pufido (they/he) is a Turkish queer knitwear designer based in Berlin.

I first picked up knitting needles on my hand when I was a child. There was always someone who was knitting at the home. Thanks to my mom and aunt, they taught me a lot about knitting. And from that moment I fell in love with this magical craft.

I studied Textile Design. My designs usually focus on unexpected details, striking forms & attitude. I am always seeking the new and trying to develop the ideas to the infinity. I love to play with colors using several techniques and sometimes I just bring a traditional element alive with my designs in a modern perspective.

I think everyone should knit. Because knitting is what? FUNDAMENTAL!
