⚓ A Personal Message to You, Kabaro

Every contract has a story.

Behind every salary are long working hours, missed family celebrations, personal sacrifices, and dreams waiting at home.

I understand that journey because I've lived it for more than 25 years.

My hope is that the lessons I share through seamanguide.info will help you make your sacrifices more meaningful and your future more prepared.

Don't just count your completed contracts. Make every contract count.

Thank you for being here, kabaro. I hope we can continue learning, growing, and building a better future together.

Fair winds and following seas! ⚓

Helping Seafarers Build Financial Security, Stronger Minds, and Better Futures — One Contract at a Time.

⚠️ LIMITED-TIME LAUNCH OFFER

⚠️ LIMITED-TIME LAUNCH OFFER ⋆

WHERE YOUR MONEY IS GOING

Before you can improve your finances, you need to know your current situation.

Income.

Expenses.

Debt.

Family responsibilities.

Savings.

Future goals.

You cannot control what you don't understand.

FIND YOUR FINANCIAL LEAKS

Small spending decisions can become large problems when repeated throughout the contract.

You will learn how to identify the areas where your money is disappearing and decide which ones need your attention.

BUILD YOUR FINANCIAL ANCHOR

An anchor gives direction and stability.

Your financial anchor can include emergency savings, debt payments, future savings, retirement preparation, and controlled personal spending.

The goal is to create a plan you can actually follow.

TAKE CONTROL OF DEBT

Debt can consume future income.

Instead of simply making payments and hoping the debt disappears, you will create a clearer approach to understanding and managing what you owe.

PREPARE FOR THE TIME YOU ARE NOT ONBOARD

Your contract will not last forever.

That is why your money should also prepare you for the months when you are not earning.

Emergency funds, future savings, and retirement preparation should not be something you think about only when you are close to retirement.

THE PROBLEM

Many seafarers earn a good income while onboard but still struggle financially.

You may recognize yourself in some of these situations:

  • You earn, but you don't have enough savings.
  • You have several debts following you from one contract to another.

  • You don't have enough emergency savings.
  • You keep saying, “Next contract, I'll start saving.”

  • You send most of your income to your family but forget to prepare for your own future.
  • You spend more during vacation because you feel you deserve to enjoy your hard-earned money.

You finish one contract without reaching your financial goals.

Then you depend on the next contract to fix everything.

But another contract should not only help you survive.

  • It should help you move forward.

  • Retirement feels too far away, so you keep postponing it.
  • You don't really know where your money goes every month.

The dangerous part is that this can become a normal cycle.

SOLUTION

This is why I created:

⚓ THE ANCHOR BEFORE YOU SAIL SYSTEM

A simple financial system designed around the real situation of seafarers.

It is not about becoming rich overnight.

It is not about complicated investments.

It is not about stopping yourself from enjoying your money.

And it is not about following a complicated financial formula that doesn't fit your life.

It is about giving your money a purpose before you spend it.

START WITH A SMALL DECISION

You don't need to completely change your financial life today.

You don't need to know everything about money.

You don't need a huge amount of savings to begin.

You simply need to understand where you are and decide where you want your money to go.

If you are a seafarer struggling with:

Financial instability,

Debt, or Lack of retirement preparation, then this guide was created for you.

One contract at a time. One financial decision at a time. One stronger future at a time.

MAKE YOUR MONEY WORK WITH A PURPOSE

You work hard for every contract.

Your money should have a purpose too.

Don't wait for the next contract to start fixing the same problems.

Start with the contract you have now.

Know your numbers.

Control your spending.

Build your savings.

Manage your debt.

Prepare for your future.

Your money doesn't need to be perfect.

It needs a direction.

“You don’t have to stop enjoying your life onboard. You just need to start making better decisions with the money you work hard to earn”.

“Your next contract will come with expenses. Make sure it also comes with a plan.”

⚓ ABOUT ME

From Life at Sea to Helping Fellow Seafarers Build a Better Future

Hello, Kabaro! I'm Jeffry Simeon.

I'm a Filipino seafarer and Restaurant Manager with over 25 years of experience working at sea.

For more than two decades, I've dedicated much of my life to the cruise industry, working with people from different cultures, facing challenges, learning from mistakes, and growing both personally and professionally.

But my journey has taught me something important:

Life at sea is not just about earning a salary. It's about the sacrifices we make, the lessons we learn, and the future we build for ourselves and our families.

💙 Why I Started seamanguide.info

Throughout my career, I've witnessed the realities of being a seafarer.

I've seen hardworking crew members struggle with financial problems despite earning a good salary.

I've seen colleagues quietly carry loneliness, stress, homesickness, and emotional exhaustion while continuing to smile and perform their duties.

And I've learned that professional success doesn't always mean financial security or peace of mind.

These experiences inspired me to create seamanguide.info — a place where I can share practical knowledge, personal experiences, and valuable life lessons with fellow seafarers.

My mission is simple:

To help seafarers build better financial habits, strengthen their emotional well-being, and prepare for a more meaningful life beyond every contract.

📚 My e-Guides: Lessons From Experience, Made for Real Life

I believe that knowledge becomes valuable when we apply it.

That's why I created practical e-Guides using simple language, relatable situations, and actionable steps.

⚓ ANCHOR BEFORE YOU SAIL — Build Your Financial Security

A practical financial guide designed to help seafarers understand their spending, develop better saving habits, manage debt, and prepare for their future.

Because after months of sacrifice, every seafarer deserves the opportunity to return home with progress — not just another completed contract.

💙 STRONG AT SEA — Take Care of Your Mental Well-Being

A practical guide to help seafarers understand loneliness, recognize stress signals, manage emotional pressure, and build healthier habits while working away from home.

Because being strong doesn't mean carrying every burden alone.

🧭 THE SEAMAN LIFE COMPASS BUNDLE — Navigate Your Life With Purpose

A collection of my financial and mental well-being guides, created to encourage a more balanced approach to life at sea.

Because a better future requires both financial preparation and personal well-being.

🌱 What I've Learned From 25+ Years at Sea

One of the biggest lessons I've learned is that small decisions, repeated consistently, can make a meaningful difference in our lives.

Saving a little instead of spending everything.

Choosing to learn instead of repeating the same mistakes.

Taking care of our health instead of ignoring the warning signs.

Preparing for tomorrow while still appreciating today.

I'm still learning, too. And I believe personal growth doesn't stop, no matter how long we've been working or how much experience we have.

🤝 My Promise to Fellow Seafarers

I'm not here to promise instant wealth, a stress-free life, or overnight success.

I'm here to share honest experiences, practical lessons, and simple tools that may help you make better decisions.

You don't have to change your entire life in one day.

Start with one lesson. Apply one small action. Keep moving forward.

⚓ A Personal Message to You, Kabaro

My hope is that the lessons I share through seamanguide.info will help you make your sacrifices more meaningful and your future more prepared.

Don't just count your completed contracts. Make every contract count.

Thank you for being here, kabaro. I hope we can continue learning, growing, and building a better future together.

Helping Seafarers Build Financial Security, Stronger Minds, and Better Futures — One Contract at a Time.

Why Us

We Understand the Life of a Seafarer

Life at sea comes with sacrifices, challenges, and responsibilities. We understand the hard work behind every contract, the pressure of supporting family, and the importance of preparing for the future. seamanguide.info was created to provide practical guidance that connects with the real experiences of seafarers, both onboard and at home.

Simple Lessons, Practical Solutions

We believe learning should be simple, clear, and useful. Our e-guides provide easy-to-follow lessons, practical steps, and helpful tools that seafarers can apply in everyday life. Whether you're managing your salary, controlling debt, building savings, or preparing for retirement, our goal is to help you make better decisions one step at a time.

Your Future Matters Beyond Every Contract

A successful seafaring career is not only about how much you earn, but also about what you build from your hard-earned income. We encourage seafarers to develop better habits, prepare for unexpected challenges, and create a stronger financial foundation for themselves and their families. Because every contract should bring you closer to a more secure future.

🚢 YOUR NEXT CONTRACT CAN BE DIFFERENT.

You can use every contract as an opportunity to build something for your future—not just to survive until the next one.

Take your time with the guide, complete the exercises, and be honest with your numbers.

There is no perfect starting point.

You simply need to start.

I'm excited for you to begin this journey.

Start where you are.

Use every contract with purpose.

Taking an important step toward your financial future.

Your next contract can be more than income.

It can become your foundation for financial security.

“Your financial situation may not change overnight, but every good decision you make can move you one step closer to greater financial security.”

"Think about how much you normally spend onboard on internet, drinks at the crew bar, eating outside, or buying things you may not really need. Sometimes, a few small expenses can add up to more than $12 without you even noticing.

Now imagine using that same amount for something that can help you manage your money better."
