Terms of Purchase and Use

Last updated: September 2026

These terms apply to digital products purchased from Amour Books.

Licence and permitted use

Your purchase grants you a limited, non-exclusive and non-transferable licence to download and use the digital product for your personal use. Copyright and all other intellectual-property rights remain with the author and copyright owner.

You may download the product to devices under your personal control. You must not copy, share, upload, distribute, reproduce, resell, sublicense or commercially exploit the product, in whole or in part, except where permitted by law or with prior written permission from the copyright owner.

PDF protection

PDF purchases may be stamped with the purchaser’s email address and purchase date. You must not remove, obscure or alter this information or any copyright notice, digital protection or identifying mark contained in the file.

Downloads and compatibility

Downloads are limited to three attempts. It is the purchaser’s responsibility to provide a correct email address, download the file promptly and use compatible software or a suitable reading device. EPUB files require an EPUB-compatible reader, and PDF files require a compatible PDF reader. Please contact Amour Books if a genuine technical problem prevents access to a purchased file.

Refunds and consumer rights

Because digital products are supplied immediately, refunds are not offered for change of mind or accidental purchases. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable laws. If a digital product is faulty, materially different from its description or cannot be accessed because of a problem with the supplied file, please contact Amour Books so that an appropriate remedy can be provided.
