Privacy Policy

1. Who this notice covers

This Privacy Policy explains how yangchenghui, an individual trading as Useful Shelf, at 广东省广州市番禺区足球公园19栋1216, Guangdong, China (“Useful Shelf,” “we,” “us” or “our”), handles personal data received in connection with the Useful Shelf Payhip store, purchases of Double Joy — Chinese-English Wedding Invitation Kit (the “Product”), and customer support.

Contact: ych010224@163.com or the Contact page in the Useful Shelf Payhip store.

Payhip operates the storefront, checkout and digital-delivery platform, and PayPal processes payments. They also process personal data for their own platform, payment, security, tax and legal purposes under their own privacy notices. This Policy describes Useful Shelf's handling and does not replace the notices of Payhip or PayPal.

2. The offline editor

The tested Product editor runs from files stored on your computer. It does not require an editor account, upload the wording you enter, include analytics or advertising, use remote fonts, or send your edited wedding content to Useful Shelf. Current edits remain in the open browser tab and reset when the page is closed or reloaded. The exported PDF is generated in your browser and saved through Chrome's ordinary download flow.

Files and exports that you save on your device are under your control. Useful Shelf does not receive them unless you choose to send them in a support request. Please do not send private wedding wording, guest information, identity documents or payment credentials.

3. Personal data Useful Shelf may receive

Depending on how you use the store, Useful Shelf may receive or access:

• your order email address and, if collected at checkout, your first and last name;

• the Product purchased, order date, currency, gross and net amounts, order or refund status and payment method type;

• country or location and tax information where Payhip makes those fields available for transaction or tax purposes;

• coupon, consent or unsubscribe status and answers to checkout questions if those features are used;

• transaction identifiers, payment status, dispute information and other merchant-facing details made available by PayPal or Payhip; and

• your email address, message and the limited technical details you voluntarily provide when requesting support, such as operating system, Chrome version, failing step, error text and an optional cropped screenshot.

Useful Shelf does not ask you to send, and does not intentionally collect, your full payment-card number, card security code, bank password or PayPal login credential. Payment credentials are handled by the payment provider. Payhip may separately collect technical data such as IP address, browser or device information, store activity and cookies as described in Payhip's own Privacy and Cookies Policy.

4. Why Useful Shelf uses personal data

Useful Shelf uses the limited data it receives where necessary to:

• identify, fulfil and support an order;

• provide or restore access to purchased files;

• communicate about an order, correction, refund or support request;

• verify duplicate charges, administer eligible refunds and respond to disputes or chargebacks;

• protect the Product license, prevent fraud or misuse and keep necessary business records;

• meet accounting, tax, consumer-protection and other legal obligations; and

• respond to a valid privacy or legal request.

Where applicable law requires a legal basis, these purposes may rely on performance of a contract, compliance with a legal obligation, Useful Shelf's legitimate interests in support, security, fraud prevention and recordkeeping, or consent where consent is required.

Useful Shelf does not currently use buyer data for promotional email and does not sell or rent buyer personal data. If optional marketing is introduced later, it must use the consent and unsubscribe controls required by applicable law, and this Policy must be updated before that use begins. Payhip and PayPal may have separate communications or marketing practices governed by their own notices and settings.

5. Who may receive personal data

Useful Shelf may disclose only the data reasonably necessary to:

• Payhip, which hosts the store, checkout, order records and digital delivery;

• PayPal, which processes the payment, refund and payment dispute;

• professional advisers or service providers used for accounting, legal, security or technical support, if needed and subject to appropriate confidentiality or data-protection duties; and

• courts, regulators, tax authorities, law enforcement or other recipients where disclosure is required by law or necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal rights.

Payhip and PayPal decide how and why they process much of the data within their own services and provide their own privacy rights processes. Useful Shelf does not control those separate practices.

6. International processing

Useful Shelf is established in China, while Payhip and PayPal operate internationally. As a result, order, support and payment-related data may be processed, stored or accessed outside the country where you live, including in China and in locations used by Payhip, PayPal or their service providers. Their own privacy notices describe their processing locations and safeguards. Where applicable law requires a transfer safeguard for processing controlled by Useful Shelf, Useful Shelf will use the legally required mechanism.

7. Retention

The offline editor does not send your entered wedding wording to Useful Shelf, so Useful Shelf has no server copy of that editor content to retain or delete.

Useful Shelf keeps seller-accessible order, refund, license and dispute records for at least 180 days and longer only where reasonably necessary for order support, fraud or dispute handling, accounting, tax, legal obligations or the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims. Support communications and optional screenshots are kept only while needed for the request and any related dispute or legal obligation, then deleted or de-identified where reasonably possible.

Payhip and PayPal apply their own retention periods to data held in their systems. A deletion request to Useful Shelf does not automatically delete data those providers must or choose to retain under their own legal responsibilities.

8. Security and data minimisation

Useful Shelf limits requested support information to what is reasonably necessary to reproduce or resolve the stated problem. Do not email payment credentials, identity documents, private guest lists or unredacted wedding content. If unnecessary personal data is received, Useful Shelf will avoid further use and delete or de-identify it where reasonably possible and legally permitted.

Seller-accessible records remain within the seller's access-controlled Payhip, PayPal and email accounts unless an export or disclosure described in this Policy is needed. No email, device, platform or internet transmission can be guaranteed completely secure. You are responsible for securing the Product files and exported PDFs stored on your own device and for choosing appropriate recipients when sharing an export.

9. Your choices and rights

Depending on the law that applies, you may have rights to request access to, a copy of, correction of, deletion of, restriction of or objection to Useful Shelf's processing of your personal data, and to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. You may also have a right to complain to a competent data-protection authority.

To make a request about data controlled by Useful Shelf, email ych010224@163.com and identify the order or communication concerned without sending payment credentials or unnecessary identity documents. Useful Shelf may request proportionate information needed to verify the requester and will respond subject to applicable exceptions and retention duties.

For data controlled by Payhip or PayPal, use the privacy contact or rights process in that provider's own privacy notice. Useful Shelf cannot delete or correct data that only the provider controls.

10. Cookies and store analytics

The downloaded offline editor does not set analytics or advertising cookies. The Payhip storefront may use strictly necessary, analytical or other cookies and may process IP address, browser, device and usage information. Payhip's Privacy and Cookies Policy and any controls shown by Payhip govern those technologies. Blocking all cookies may prevent parts of the storefront, cart, login or checkout from working.

11. Children

The store and Product are not directed to children, and a purchaser must have legal capacity to enter the purchase agreement. Useful Shelf does not knowingly ask a child to provide personal data. If you believe a child has provided personal data directly to Useful Shelf, contact ych010224@163.com so the situation can be reviewed and the data deleted where appropriate and legally permitted.

12. Changes to this Policy

This Policy may be updated to reflect a change in the Product, store features, service providers or legal obligations. The updated page will show a new “Last updated” date. A future change does not authorise a new use of previously collected data where applicable law requires additional notice or consent.
