This Privacy Policy explains how we process your personal data when you purchase e-books through the Payhip platform and when you communicate with us. All processing is carried out in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and applicable Czech legislation.

We process only the personal data that you provide or that we receive from Payhip in connection with your order:
- First name and surname
- Email address
- Order information (product purchased, date, and amount)
- Communication content (when you contact us via email or contact form)
- Basic analytical data (e.g. country)
We do not process your payment card details — these are processed exclusively by Stripe.

4. Recipients and Data Transfers
We share your personal data only with the following recipients:
- Payhip Ltd. (United Kingdom) – platform operator and processor
- Stripe – payment processor
Payhip and Stripe act as data processors. We recommend you review their privacy policies:
The United Kingdom has an adequacy decision from the European Commission. For sales to other countries (e.g. USA, Japan, South Korea, etc.), appropriate safeguards are in place.
5. Retention Period
We retain your personal data only as long as necessary:
- Order and invoice data: 5 years (due to tax and accounting obligations)
- Communication / contact form: 2 years from the last contact
- Analytical data: up to 3 years
Payhip may retain some data longer according to their own retention policies.
6. Automated Individual Decision-Making
We do not use automated decision-making or profiling.
