Aesthetic Ocular Safety

Ophthalmology led. Aesthetic focused.

This one-of-a kind training helps you lower the risk of ophthalmic side effects, assess risk, respond competently, and deliver the best care.

'Your first step in standardised safety training'

Why do our course?

The course is designed by ophthalmologists to prepare you for the rare but serious complication of vision loss, as well as to help you recognise and support patients experiencing other ophthalmic adverse events. Through expert-led teaching and hands-on simulation, you’ll develop the practical skills, confidence, and clinical tools needed to assess, manage, and document these events with clarity and care

What you'll learn

This course will give you a clear understanding of how to recognise and respond to filler-induced visual complications. You’ll learn the vascular anatomy involved, how to pre-screen and consent patients appropriately, how to assess symptoms of visual disturbance, and how to manage emergencies using a structured, step-by-step approach. Simulation-based training will support your clinical reasoning, communication, and preparedness.

    •    Template wording for filler consent covering vision loss and stroke

    •    A hyaluronidase consent form for orbital rescue use

    •    A step-by-step emergency management protocol
