Step 1 - Prep

  • No matter which adhesive you choose, your natural nails must be completely stripped of oils and shine, or the nails will pop off.

    • Wash & Dry: Wash your hands with dish soap (it strips surface oils better than hand soap) and dry them completely.
    • Push Cuticles: Use a cuticle stick to gently push back your cuticles. Clear away any invisible dead skin clinging to the nail bed.
    • Remove the Shine: Lightly buff the entire surface of your natural nails with a fine-grit buffer. You want a dull, chalky look—no shiny spots!
    • Dehydrate & Sanitize: Wipe each nail thoroughly with an isopropyl alcohol pad. Once wiped, do not touch your nails with your fingers, or you'll transfer skin oils right back onto them.

Step 2 - Choose Your Method

  • Safety First!

UV cured glue is NEVER safe for the application of press-on sets, or any nails other than clear, unprepped and unpainted gel nail tips intended for a gel-cured application.

  • Press-On Tabs

    Lasts 1-3 days.

Great for photoshoots, weekend events, quick removal, temporary looks, and protecting your natural nails from glue residue. Perfect if you can't wear nails at your day job!

Removal is easy, with no nail damage, and no need to soak off.

  • Liquid Nail Glue

    Lasts 1–2 Weeks.

Best for daily standard wear and active lifestyles.

    Removal requires soaking.

  • Combo Method - Press-on Tabs + Nail Glue

    Lasts 2–3 Weeks.

This offers maximum security, reduces air bubbles, and is a good long-wear option. The combo method offers extra security in preventing water from getting trapped under the nail tip.

Removal requires soaking, but can be a bit gentler on the nail than nail glue alone.

  • CurvLife or Other Air-Dry Gel

    Lasts 2–3 Weeks.

Best for flat nail beds, filling deep curve gaps, and ultimate comfort.

    Removal requires soaking.

Step 3 - Apply

  • Press-on Tabs

    How to Apply:

    1. Match the sheet of sticky tabs to your natural nail sizes.
    2. Peel the tab off the sheet and apply it directly onto your natural nail.
    3. Press firmly and smooth it out to eliminate air bubbles.
    4. Peel off the protective top layer.
    5. Align your AngelClawz nail at a 45-degree angle right up to your cuticle line, press down firmly, and hold hard for 15-30 seconds.

  • Liquid Nail Glue

    How to Apply:

    1. Apply a small drop of liquid glue to the back of the AngelClawz tip, spreading it thinly across the area that will sit on your nail.
    2. Apply a tiny drop of glue to the center of your natural nail.
    3. Press the tip down starting from the cuticle line at a 45-degree angle to rock the glue forward and push out any air bubbles.
    4. Hold firmly in the center with heavy pressure for at least 1 minute per finger.

  • Combo Method

    How to Apply:

    1. Follow the Press-On Tabs instructions to apply a sticky tab directly onto your natural nail and peel away the clear backing.
    2. Place a small drop of Liquid Nail Glue directly on top of the sticky tab.
    3. Immediately apply your AngelClawz nail, rocking it from the cuticle forward.
    4. Press and hold firmly for 1 minute. The glue fuses with the tab to create a watertight, ultra-strong seal.

  • CurvLife or Other Air-Dry Gel

    How to Apply:

    1. Squeeze a small bead of the thick CurvLife or other thick air-dry gel glue directly into the cuticle area on the back of your AngelClawz nail.
    2. Gently press the tip onto your natural nail starting at the cuticle, allowing the thick gel to slowly glide forward to fill the entire bed.
    3. Do not push so hard that all the gel squeezes out the sides.
    4. Because it is an air-dry formula with a gel thickness, hold it steadily in place for 1-2 minutes to allow the bond to form.

Step 4 - After Application

  • To allow the adhesives a chance to fully dry, cure, and lock into place for maximum longevity, avoid exposing your hands to water or oils for the first 2 hours after applying your nails with liquid glue, combo, or gel glue.
