Here is an overview of the entire year of biblical holidays. We are now in the Spring holidays.
Here is an image illustrating the "counting of the omer" which begins on 16 NISAN with HaBikkurim (Early Firstfruits)--that's the NIGHT of April 13th to the DAY of April 14th. We are counting 49 days or 7 weeks until SHAVUOT (Feast of Weeks or Pentecost) beginning 6 SIVAN--that's the NIGHT of June 1st.
This graphic illustrates the three Pilgrimage Festivals required by G-d. These are the three times during the year that all Jewish males had to return to Jerusalem to sacrifice and worship at the Temple. Two of these holidays occurs during Spring. Sukkot occurs during the Fall festivals {the High Holy Days).
